Scope of the project was to design/build “6” independent storage units on a parcel of land just outside of the GTA
Building Industrial Units consist of 4 – 40’ x 210’ & 2- 30’ x 210’
Our Project team managing the controls of the project including - design, budget, construction, permit application, meetings with planning dept for all approvals
The Challenges
Survey lots & soil tests for industrial units during winter months needed to be expedited in order to meet the overall project schedule
Materials - long lead items needed to be secured in order to meet projected construction timelines
Weather played part of restructuring project schedule
The Solution
Provided Project Management Services meeting with City officials during the entire process for planning & approval stages
Project schedule was adhered to by all team members and working different shifts in order for us to meet the appropriate timelines for our client, without huge increase to the overall budget
Managed & worked with all disciplines including civil engineers, Architects, M&E engineering, landscaped architect, General Contractor
Administered and approved contracting contracts, including budget details, and formal reports
